Working with ARE was a true pleasure. Amir and his team were professional, communicative and the quality of work is outstanding. We remodeled our kitchen and downstairs and fully trusted Amir’s team to take the reigns. Every partner team or subject matter expert Amir brought in was outstanding. What’s clear to me is that ARE takes great pride in the quality of work, their clients satisfaction and has fun doing it.

I wouldn’t even shop around next time I have a project to complete - ARE would be my trusted go to, since I can reply on them to be on schedule and deliver on such a high quality standard.

We choose to work with ARE because of Amir’s creative ideas on how to work with a slightly odd kitchen layout and how to make the most of the space. He and his team were great to work, very professional, and easy to communicate with. When something unexpected popped up, the team was on it to get the solution and work done quickly. We absolutely love using the kitchen now!

We just finished a major remodeling project with ARE and couldn’t be happier with the results! We bumped out the old kitchen wall to make it bigger, turned the old dining room into an office, and added a shower to the first-floor powder room.

We got quotes from several companies, and ARE was on the higher end, but we’re so glad we chose them for such an important project. They took care of all the city permits and inspections and connected us with the architect and engineer they regularly work with. They also have great resources for ordering cabinets and countertops, which saved us so much time and headache.

Their designer helped us pick out everything for the kitchen, and they recommended a flooring company to refinish our existing floors and install new ones in the expanded space. The end result is unbelievably beautiful!

The owner, Amir, was super responsive and patient. He paid close attention to details and gave realistic estimates for both the timeline and any potential issues. His crew was amazing—hardworking, smart, and dedicated. They often worked long hours and even on Saturdays. This is a team of people who are passionate and proud of their work.

Of course, we ran into some surprises along the way—like tiles arriving late/damaged, old leaking pipes hidden in the walls, a wrongly installed vent from before, some moldy drywall, and an outdated electrical panel that needed upgrading, etc. ARE handled everything smoothly with their experience and professionalism.

They even replaced two exhaust fans in our laundry and master bathroom for free, and arranged for a cleaning service at the end of the project to make the house spotless.

They really took the stress out of home remodeling. We’re absolutely loving our new spaces! Highly recommend—this is a company you can trust.

We just bought a house on the older side and couldn't be happier with the work American Remodeling Experts did to update it. Amir and his team went way beyond what we initially planned, helping make our home feel modern and comfortable. The kitchen remodel was a game-changer. They knocked down a wall to open up the main floor and added a new countertop that made such a difference.

Everything looks fantastic with the new cabinets, sink, backsplash, and lighting fixtures. They also changed out the old tiles for LVP flooring to match the rest of the main floor, which makes the area feel even larger.
They also took care of other things around the home – Amir had coordinated everything on our behalf which really simplified the process for us. They had fixed up the ventilation, adding proper venting for the hood and putting in bathroom fans. They also updated all the electrical, upgrading the main panel breaker and adding GFCI outlets behind the toilets for electrical bidets.

Overall, the finishing touches were spot-on - from fixing drywall to matching paint perfectly. I was really impressed with how they stayed on schedule while working with different vendors and inspectors. Amir kept us in the loop the whole time and was always upfront about what they were finding and doing.

We really appreciate how much they care about doing things right for their customers. If you're looking for a remodeling company you can trust, I definitely recommend ARE. They truly go above and beyond to make sure everything is done properly.

UPDATE!
We recently hired Amir and his team at ARE for the second time to remodel our home in Sammamish, and I can honestly say they did a fantastic job again! This time, they tackled our bathrooms, renew our basement with new office for my husband and with that our all house was remodeled. The results are beautiful, and we’re absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out.

We decided to go with Amir again because of how great the first project went (that was the main living floor including kitchen), and he didn’t disappoint. They are currently renovating 3 of our neighbors homes. Amir is so easy to work with—he listens, offers great ideas, and really cares about making sure everything turns out just right. He kept us in the loop every step of the way, which made the whole process so much less stressful.

His team is amazing, too—friendly, hardworking, and incredibly skilled. They treated our home with respect and paid attention to all the little details that make such a big difference.
Both times we were able to stay in our house during the work which saved us a lot of money.

Our house feels like a new home, and we’re so grateful to Amir and his team for their hard work and dedication. We are happy to recommend them for anyone interested in remodeling their homes.

Amir, Limor, Sveta, and Johnny of American Remodeling Experts worked diligently to bring my sweet, little 1960s rambler back to life. They took my dark, closed off living area and turned it into a sun soaked, open floor plan. Their efforts involved remodeling and updating my kitchen and bathroom, including removing a load bearing wall with beam placement. The challenging job, from the planning stage through completion, was met with enthusiasm, care, and, above all else, honesty. As with many remodels, particularly remodeling an older home, there were issues we encountered along the way, and the ARE team worked tirelessly with me and their readily available vendors and subcontractors to find speedy and reasonably priced solutions. If anyone is interested in remodeling and redesigning their home, I highly recommend this team. Not only are they true experts at their craft, they are also incredibly wonderful people!

I am incredibly pleased with the result of my bathroom remodel by American Remodeling Experts. Amir and his team were creative, professional, and fast. They came up with a great design that made the space bigger and replaced my old bathtub with a stunning walk-in shower. The new bathroom has a luxurious and modern look that I adore.
They also managed to start the project quickly on short notice and finish it before the deadline, which was crucial for me since my in-laws are moving into my house shortly. They stayed connected throughout the project and informed me of the progress and any challenges that they faced. The only drawback was that the costs went over my initial budget, but that was partly because of unforeseen problems with the house that we had to resolve. The additional expenses were justified to ensure the quality and durability of the remodel.
In summary, I would strongly recommend American Remodeling Experts to anyone who needs a dependable and skilled contractor for their home improvement projects. They did a wonderful job in my bathroom, and I am very happy with their work. I intend to work with them again for future renovations.

Amir and his wonderful team helped us transform our dated kitchen into a beautiful, modern and functional space.

During the initial planning stage, Amir and Hila provided us with valuable insights and suggestions on enhancing the flow of our dining and kitchen areas. This included taking down a large wall, soffit, two pony walls, entry closet, and adding an island to create an open kitchen/dining room concept. Throughout the remodeling, Amir checked in several times to supervise every aspect of the process and was communicative and professional throughout the project, making sure things were going smoothly. We requested some changes to our original design plan and Amir was very accommodating with the changes. He took time to answer all our questions and concerns, gave us advice and recommendations on purchases. As with any project bumps can happen but they were quickly on top of them and had them promptly resolved while keeping the project on schedule. It is evident that Amir is someone who truly cares about his work and in delivering exceptional results and giving his customers a positive experience.

Sveta, their project manager, did an amazing job coordinating and managing the scheduling logistics. She kept us informed and updated throughout the whole process. She was on the job site every time work was being done to make sure things were executed seamlessly and completed on schedule.

Amir had wonderful hardworking people working for him during the course of the project and they were always professional, patient and courteous. It was a pleasure working with Amir and his team who have helped made a stressful project easy. The entire project went smoothly and completed on time in just 6 weeks. The project was executed seamlessly thanks to their careful planning.

We are very pleased with our new kitchen, and we would highly recommend ARE for their excellent communication, professionalism, reliability, and efficiency for any of your remodeling needs.

UPDATE 12/2024
Amir's follow-up service after project finish is top-notch, almost a league of his own. Our kitchen countertop, LVP floor and master bathroom experienced a few issues due to seasonal temperature swings. Amir quickly sent his sub-contractors to resolve them at no cost to us. We are thankful that our home is well taken care of by Amir's team. We plan to engage this company again when we remodel our office and child bathroom.

We finished a major remodel with American Remodeling Experts in late 2023, including our kitchen, master bathroom, powder room and flooring on our 1st level. We selected this company after interviewing 12 general contractors, and we are very happy with the end result.
- Quality: Amir assembled a great team of professional sub-contractors who took pride in their work. On most days, the core team worked on our house from 8.30am to 7pm, and cleaned up after themselves really well. Other sub-cons came to our job site many times until we were satisfied with the smallest details. Amir personally vetted all finish items’ specifications to minimize installation risks before we made purchases .
- On-time delivery: We moved out to a temp apartment to escape construction dust. To our surprise, Amir finished our big remodel within 12 weeks as promised on his contract. His project manager, Sveta, was super responsive to our texts/calls, frequently updating on-site progress with lots of details and photos.
- Customer care: Amir was a great listener. We had a terrible remodel experience in our first home 8 years ago, and became extremely careful with this remodel. We asked a million questions, and Amir always answered them with great technical details. On occasions that we disagreed with each other, Amir always showed patience and chose to protect our benefits. Amir was also very understanding of our remodel anxiety. Although our project was unexpectedly delayed 1 week due to our baby’s hospitalization, Amir still managed to move stuffs around to ensure the remodel finish on time. After we moved out to our temp apartment, his team carefully lined up plastic walls around working areas and turned on an industrial air purifier to prevent dust spreading to other parts of our house. At the end, he also sent in a team of cleaners to freshen up the space before we moved home. Up till today, Amir is still very responsive to our home-related questions.
- Design: Amir is not the type of contractors who simply take your money and say yes to all your asks. He’d push you to think out of the box, and explore bold design elements that make your house “uniquely you”. I really enjoy my new kitchen and master bathroom as both functional and creative spaces.
- Cost: This company was not cheap. In fact, it was one of the most expensive companies among the 12 GCs we interviewed. We went ahead with Amir because we knew apart from price, on-time delivery and quality were very important to us. Amir understood our budget constraint, so he helped us source for affordable finish items that still met our design requirements. Thanks to his contractor discounts, we saved ~10K for quartz countertop and cabinets.

We are very happy to have worked with ARE to remodel our kitchen and bathroom. Amir impressed us with his professional insights and creative ideas when he met us at our house. We wanted to a wet room with the tub inside the shower enclosure but we were limited by the current bathroom layout. Amir walked around the house while he talked with us about our needs, then proposed a solution by simply changing the direction of the door to the toilet to create more space. The solution was simple, though the process was not. Amir took care of everything for us, canceling out the plumbing system for the old tub, adding new plumbing for additional shower and tub..etc.
What's great about working with the ARE team is that they take care of everything, even if you only have a vague idea of what you want. The ARE team guided us through selecting tiles, paint, a bunch of different finishes, and had all the materials delivered before the team even stepped inside our house. Even though they have a very full schedule, once you're on their schedule, they are committed to finish the project to your satisfaction. There was one time the electrician wasn't able to come, Amir was able to find another to come the second day. Whenever we raised a concern about anything, it was resolved speedily. When our shower pan was done, we found there was some standing water and called Amir Friday afternoon. When we went back to the house on Tuesday morning, it was already fixed.
Amir and his team are fun to work with, they bring a cheerful and optimistic vibe to your house. Remodeling can be very stressful, you're always anticipating something might go wrong or can't be fixed. If you have a problem, bring it up to Amir, he will think about it with you, talk to you about different solutions and possible impact, then they will execute your decision. They helped us create a space in our home that our whole family enjoys every day.

We just finished a renovation with American Remodeling Experts (ARE) and it went exceedingly well. Amir and Sveta were a pleasure to work with. The upfront documentation and contracting process laid out the project plan very well. ARE’s crews were polite and did great work in the house during this first phase and we cannot wait to have them back to kick off phase 2. I would definitely recommend calling Amir if you’re looking for a general contractor.

Amir and his team completely blew us away! Overall, they are just great to work with because they do an amazing job at a good price. We had struggled to find a great contractor at a reasonable price here in the PNW. Our neighbors all had a list of contractors they would never hire again, but nobody had a great story. I can tell you that American Remodeling Experts are a great contractor. First, Amir is very easy to work with, and for a techie family it is great that the plans, designs, schedule, and invoices are all online. He had a great idea for a “shower/bathtub stage” in our primary bathroom which we loved. Second, Amir and the team were amazingly flexible when we had an issue with our kitchen sink pulling away from our countertop which was not even part of the planned bathroom remodel. Christian, one of the foremen at ARE, came over to our house on a Friday evening and reattached the sink to the counter and added supports.

As for the work, ARE did a remodel of our kids’ bathroom and the primary bathroom. We were very happy with the design from Amir and the work from Cristian’s team! They kept us updated along the way, brought in very good sub-contractors, and completed the work exceeding our expectations. Throughout the process Amir was available to answer any questions that came up along the way.

If you are looking for a great contractor at a very reasonable price, then you want Amir and American Remodel Experts. They will do a fabulous job and they are great people to work with.

The ARE team has earned our trust. My husband and I reached out to Amir a few weeks ago to help us create an en-suite bed and bath. We needed to make some changes to our home to accommodate family members who had to move in with us suddenly. We had a great experience working with American Remodeling Experts on our kitchen remodel project and we are so pleased with the result. Like anyone undertaking a major home remodeling project with no previous experience, we diligently did our research, spoke to friends with experience, heard a few horror stories and finally narrowed our search for a contractor to five contractors. The decision was to put our trust and money with American Remodeling Experts to make our dream come true. ARE remodeled our kitchen, 3 bathrooms and also worked on changing the floor.

Amir was amazing with communication right from the start. He patiently listened to our goals and requirements. Asked questions. Made expert suggestions. Finally, together we came up with a plan of action to accomplish within our budget.

Throughout the project, he was more of a partner to us than a contractor. We appreciate

· his guidance with design ideas, product selection

· setting the correct expectations on the project timeline

· staying within budget, he discussed any variance to be expected much in advance (no surprises)

After the project was completed and payments were finalized, Amir followed up to check if everything was to our satisfaction and jumped into action wherever needed.

In your research matrix you may find that ARE costs more than some other contractors you are considering. However, their quality of work, timeliness and communication skills are awesome. These qualities probably, in our humble opinion, are the ultimate keys to the success of any remodeling project.

Overall, we are very happy with our experience working with ARE. We will be amiss if we did not mention Limor and how she is the backbone supporting ARE and particularly Amir!

We worked with Amir and ARE on a full kitchen remodel and flooring install. Amir was fantastic and 100% involved in every step of the way. Amir and his team offered creative ideas and solutions that we wouldn’t have considered. It was refreshing to feel supported and helped along the way. He and his team were patient and caring as we made decisions (and on more than a few occasions changed decisions). Amir was personally involved in the quality checks and ensured the work that was getting done was to his very high standards. His crews were respectful, timely and did fantastic work. As with any project of this magnitude there are inevitable surprises, and we had a few. Amir was great about being upfront and clear about this possibility before we started, and when a couple of these cropped up, he worked with us directly to discuss options and arrive at creative solutions that stayed within code and never compromised the final look and feel. We also very much appreciated the schedule portal to know and understand what work would be completed when. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Amir and ARE, and we would definitely look to Amir and ARE for future projects!

We worked with ARE on a joint kitchen remodeling project, ARE provide GC services and we provided the kitchen design, cabinets and installation.
Throughout the process Amir was personally 100% involved in the design, budgeting, scheduling and planning of the kitchen design and functionality.
His commitment to the project and the client was something we had not experienced when working with other GC’s, it was so refreshing and made our job easier.
Even when we encountered issues with shipping delays (due to Covid), we worked together to try to reduce, to our best ability, the inconvenience on the client.
We have been actively and whole heartedly recommending American Remodeling Experts to our clients since then!
